Specializations
A specialization brings together related talents to get a project started faster.
A specialization is a named list of talents ready to activate for a technical goal. It does not add knowledge: it combines existing talents.
What it contains
- An explicit list of talents, all of which will be installed.
- Proposed required dependencies (
requiresandincludes) when composing it. - Recommendations (
recommends) shown for information, never added automatically. - No behavior of its own: the rules remain in the talents.
Specialization or talent?
| Talent | Specialization | |
|---|---|---|
| Role | Codified expertise | Reusable set |
| Knowledge | Rules, examples, constraints | No new knowledge |
| Use | Install a specific capability | Start with a coherent set |
On the platform
A project can combine several specializations: for example, frontend and backend in a monorepo. You can then add or remove talents individually.
