Manage specializations

Apply a coherent set of talents to a project from the dashboard.

A specialization activates an explicit list of talents for a technical goal. It does not create rules: the rules remain in the talents.

Browse specializations

Open Specializations in the main navigation. Cards are grouped into Provided by Grace and Your organization. Each card shows the full description and number of included talents.

Use Search specializations to filter by name, purpose, or identifier. The search ignores accents and capitalization. If nothing matches, choose Clear search to see the available sets again.

Click View talents to open the panel on the right. Each available talent is clickable: View opens its catalog page. Close the panel to return to the cards without losing your search.

Choose a specialization for a project

From a project's Talents tab, choose a specialization and review the talents it will install. The application activates all and only the talents shown; you can then adjust them individually.

In a specialization's details panel, use Search talents to filter the list by name, identifier, or description. Clear the search to restore the full list.

A project can use several specializations, for example one for the frontend and one for the backend in a monorepo.

Create a specialization

The Specializations page lists sets provided by Grace and by your organization.

  • Provided specializations can be viewed and duplicated.
  • You can create, edit, or delete a copy. From its details panel, Edit opens the editing page.
  • Open Create a specialization, then enter a name. You can save an empty set or select talents right away.
  • Available talents are organized by topic, in the same order as in the catalog. During creation or editing, the Topics filter narrows the list to one or more groups and combines with search and the Selected view.
  • Grace loads all suggestions, including dependencies and recommendations of proposed talents. The action bar separates required and recommended counts. View suggestions opens a side panel to review and add them individually; Add suggestions adds the whole group in one click, without repeating the action at each level. Talents absent from the catalog are not added.
  • The preview lists the current selection. Use Remove to remove a talent, including an added required talent: Grace then suggests it again without restoring it automatically.
  • If the catalog is temporarily unavailable, Retry keeps the name and description. If your session has expired, sign in again instead of retrying.
