Follow a local review
Understand targeted reads, retries and the evidence required for a complete review.
A local review preserves valid results after a correction and retrieves long instructions in complete fragments. Every applicable rule and every Custom Talent still needs checking. This workflow does not promise a measured reduction in review duration.
Prepare the workflow
You need a project connected to Grace, a compatible kit and server, and Python 3.10 or later for the new review client. The agent checks availability without installing Python automatically. The bundled program runs on demand, without a resident service or its own network access. Installing the kit does not execute this program.
Ask the agent to update Grace, then review the change. It must announce the served talents and available model and effort. Your review level stays unchanged.
Recognize a complete review
- The agent retains a reference of the change and prepares the expected checks.
- It retrieves all required parts of the rules. A truncated response cannot support a conclusion; missing parts must be recovered first.
- Independent reviewers return verdicts with localized evidence.
- The complete report is recorded before correction. After correction, only invalidated checks and their dependents run again; necessary second views remain required.
- Closure requires full coverage and Grace's recording acknowledgment.
A reviewer's plan, an interrupted task or a local report file is not a recorded review. Unknowns and missing evidence remain visible.
When something is unavailable
Missing Python, incompatible versions or an altered kit file: the agent explains the problem and keeps the exhaustive manual procedure available when its protocol can be retrieved. A change the client cannot faithfully represent also needs manual review. No check is removed to accelerate the result. If a tool or mandatory minimum is unavailable, the agent retains a resumable state and identifies the prerequisite without repeating the same blocked attempt.
Restore the saved version
Keep the journal and backups identified during the update. Ask the agent for targeted restoration after comparing current files with those backups. It must preserve other procedures and personal text around Grace's instructions, then verify the result. Examine any newer modification before restoring over it. Restoring the kit changes neither your connection nor project talents.
